"Gorillas Can Dance" on Best Business Minds with Marc Kramer

People working for big companies often read about startups that are going to “gobble their lunch” if they don’t make adjustments in the game, and leaders start to be concerned that their business model may be at risk.

To address such concerns, I was invited by Marc Kramer to join the 125th episode of Best Business Minds. During the hour-long interview, I talked about the “why,” “where,” and “how” of corporation-startup partnerships, as well as how to build successful strategic partnerships with Fortune 1000.

As I shared in the show, the rationale for reaching out to startups is the recognition that established companies need to be more entrepreneurial and more innovative because of the destruction they are facing. Many companies have been recognizing the need to cope with all the big changes and to be more entrepreneurial, and one way to do that is to engage with entrepreneurship that’s outside the boundaries of the company.

You can find also more details of the interview on Dr. Shameen Prashantham author of “Gorillas Can Dance” with Marc Kramer.
